Pregnancy care

Support throughout your pregnancy

Throughout your pregnancy we look after you through every scheduled check-up, with further diagnostics where they are needed, and with time for the questions that come up along the way.

Prenatal care following the maternity guidelines

We carry out all legally scheduled check-ups without rushing and discuss the results with you in detail.

  • Regular check-ups & entries in your maternity record
  • Ultrasound & advanced sonography
  • CTG (contraction & fetal heart monitoring) in the last trimester
  • Advice on nutrition, vaccinations & lifestyle

What we do for you during pregnancy

Alongside the legally scheduled examinations we offer advanced diagnostics. Not every pregnancy needs them. In your appointment we go through which examinations are due when, and what your insurer covers.

Care & progress

Maternity care
All examinations under the German maternity guidelines, recorded in your maternity record.
Pregnancy advice
Time for your questions about nutrition, vaccinations, work, travel and whatever else is on your mind.
Blood sugar test for gestational diabetes
A test that shows whether diabetes has developed during your pregnancy.
Gestational diabetes management
If the test is abnormal, we adjust your diet together and monitor your blood sugar closely.
Immunity status for infectious diseases
Before and during pregnancy: toxoplasmosis, chickenpox, cytomegalovirus and parvovirus B19 (slapped cheek disease).
Additional ultrasound scans
Even without a high-risk pregnancy, if you want to check between appointments that your baby is doing well.

Advanced diagnostics

3D and 4D ultrasound
Where medically indicated, to assess malformations more precisely.
Fetal anomaly scan
The detailed examination of your baby's organs.
Color-coded Doppler sonography
Measures blood flow in the umbilical cord and placenta. This matters if your baby stays too small.
First-trimester screening
From the nuchal translucency measurement and your blood values we calculate the risk of Down syndrome.
Prenatal DNA test
A blood test taken from you that can indicate chromosomal changes in your baby.
Extended laboratory diagnostics
Additional blood tests, depending on your history and findings.

Acupuncture & midwife

Acupuncture to prepare for birth
It aims to shorten and ease labor. We often place the needles during the CTG.
Acupuncture for pregnancy nausea
When nausea and vomiting are dominating your days.
Acupuncture for pregnancy complaints
For water retention, eczema with severe itching, back pain or migraine.
Midwife consultation
Our midwife looks after you alongside us, during pregnancy and afterwards.
Modern diagnostics

3D and 4D ultrasound

With 3D and 4D ultrasound we see your baby as a rounded image rather than the familiar cross-sectional view. The face, hands and spine stand out more clearly, and that helps us assess malformations.

Nothing changes for you. It is the same examination as the ultrasound you already know, painless and without radiation exposure. You watch the images on the screen with us, and we show you what we are looking at.

Congratulations! We look forward to seeing you.
